Stopped into Mills Diner for lunch. Ordered the bacon blue cheese burger and onion rings.All I can say is this was the best burger have had in years. I asked for crispy onion rings and a actually got crispy onion rings. The service was friendly locals in having lunch are also friendly. Will definitely be stopping in again when I travel to Ocean Shores again.

Fast and always friendly service

Service was friendly, and although it was a busy Friday afternoon, the owner still made the time to stop by each table and say hello, and make sure we had everything we needed, and that everything was to our liking. (It was) although i had a club sandwich, which theoretically you can order at any cafe, this club sandwich was in a league of its own. Generous portions (big enough to split) and quality ingredients sets Mills Diner apart from other cafe's. My Husband enjoyed his burger 'The Legion of Boom' and thoroughly enjoy it. We had to grab a cinnamon to split on our way out. The entire experience was delightful, and well worth the 40 minute drive. We will be back!!!

This place is magical! A hometown hub, with more goodwill and cheer than I have experienced anywhere. I heard more hellos and Merry Christmas's, there was even a full-out spontaneous sing-along to Mrs. Robinson between the kitchen staff and the diners! Staff were friendly, food was fast and great, they offered me tomato slices when I declined toast (being gluten free just got way better)! Excellent little place in a lovely, friendly, happy community.

Great local place to stop on our way home from Olympic National Forest camping. The dinner reminded me of ones in my childhood hometown. Packed on a weekday with locals and the staff were all super friendly. We weren't hungry for breakfast but I almost ordered it since that was what most people were ordering at 12:30 pm. Portions were huge.

Nice little diner. We went for breakfast and it was ok. Definitely wasn't anything that made a huge impression, but it was still good food for when you don't want to leave Rochester for food in town. Service was really slow unfortunately we waited over 40 minutes for our food to come out.

Very good food. Excellent prices, and friendly wait staff. First time visiting. Melissa was overly kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Food and service were excellent. Biscuits and gravy are homemade and delicious. Eggs were perfect to order. Service was well above average. One improvement, chicken fried steak is chopped and formed. Whole muscle fritters or homemade would land them 5 stars.

This is a wonderful diner right in the middle of Rochester! Great staff and fantastic food make this a place we'll be returning to regularly.

Great breakfast and lunch selection

This joint has CHARACTER! At it's core it's a standard diner -- food options, seating, prices, coffee -- the fun decor and friendliness of the staff made the experience! Even though we came in after the morning-special was no longer being served, we asked if it was still possible -- and -- YES :D We felt welcomed and appreciated, and we'd very gladly return at the next opportunity.

The food is top notch. Service is up there too. The local honey that is available for purchase is exceptionally great quality.The english muffins are so big the jam packet barely cover's them.

We love Mills! Loved them for years, always give great service & great food. After covid hit they stayed great when they opened for takeout.

Took a chance and stopped in while out for a Sunday drive. Looks like a traditional cute hole in the wall diner, but WOW on service and the food!! Generous portions, nice blend of flavors. Hubby had the huge Brooklyn Burger with 2 patties, bacon and 2 cheeses. I had the Southwest scramble. I don't usually care for sausage or gravy on my scramble, but this was pretty amazing! All of the staff were welcoming, friendly and attentive in a good way. We will definitely be back, and will make a point to pass through Rochester. They are only open from 6 am to 2 pm Tues-Sun, so be sure to go early 😀

This was my first time here, and my first time experiencing chicken and waffles. This placed nailed it. Waffle cooked perfectly, chicken fried perfectly, and not covered in thick breading. I also had a bite of my boyfriend’s biscuits and gravy (which I am normally not a fan of) but this was very well done. Nuanced flavors in the gravy other than the normal salty that I taste anywhere else. Happy to find this gem with expertly crafted food and pleasant upbeat staff that don’t seem fake happy.

The staff are always friendly. If you like left alone to eat, this is a good place. If you are picky about processed cheese don't order a cheeseburger. Ordering off the menu always great, any variation appears more difficult.

The service was great! And as a fellow waitress I pay attention to customer service a lot when I dine in at other businesses! All the wait staff had warm and kind welcomes and created the atmosphere of a home! Which is very nice!! And their waffles are TO DIE FOR!!! I try waffles all around our area because they're my favorite and these waffles are by far the best!!! You can count me as a new regular!

Clean and excellent food open for breakfast and lunch only.

Breakfast was great wait staff was rude, same waitress was rude to us two weeks ago when we went in. Younger lady with blond ponytail long hair. never asked if we needed anything after she dumped our plates on the table never came back to see if we needed more coffee. she was reaching over our plates to get the half and half and the strawberry jam refilled came back reaching over us again while we were trying to eat and talk. Did not feel welcome.

This was the most quaint friendly little diner. Reminded me of diners that no longer exist anymore and everyone knew everyone's name and were welcoming to others just passing through! I want to go again soon!
